Revenue sharing and the forums that let’s you earn money

Posted By admin on May 31st, 2009

http://originalblogger.com/2009/05/revenue-sharing-and-the-forums-that-lets-you-earn-money/

There are so many ways to make money online, and the numbers are still growing. In this post, let’s talk about earning money online via forums. Yes, you can actually earn money just by being a forum member. If you don’t know it exists, take a look at Digital Point Solutions’ forum and Web Master Talk.

How exactly do you earn money? By revenue sharing program.

Revenue what? Revenue sharing program is a system that let’s the ad revenue be shared between all active members of a forum. As of now, I have yet to see a revenue sharing system other than the Google AdSense enabled program.

Is this legal? As of this writing, there’s nothing that states that it’s not allowed. If you are worried about the legality of it then the best thing to do is not to participate. Just to remind you, Google pays AdSense publishers on a per click basis as well as per impression so that means if you join a forum with a large number of users and has AdSense revenue sharing that goes with it, then it only points to more money, right?

Where to start? Revenue sharing is best enjoyed when you start a thread and by being the last poster in a thread. Which means, the more you talk the more AdSense impressions you’ll have. If you’re a Filipino then I suggest you start with our local forums like TalkPH and SEO.PH. Lately, I’ve been having a good with World Money Forum, so check it out, too.

Original ways on how to make money online

Posted By admin on May 23rd, 2009

For all of you who’s planning to start making money online, let me tell you the most important thing you should know: Making money online  is not an easy task.

If you really want to make a decent amount of money online, you need to have a dedicated amount of time for it. How much time? That depends on you, on what you’re going to do to earn, on how you would do it, and on how good are you doing it.

There are too many ways to make money online right now, some of them requires you to spend some amount of money in able to earn while some opportunities does not require you to pay anything, which means you earn your money absolutely without shelling out cash.

Be warned though, while there are many ways to earn, there are as much ways not to. To be on the safe side, be sure to get involved on the trusted ways on how to earn money. I hope this article will provide you with just that.

Provide information. One easy way to earn money online is to offer what you do best. Doing what you do best eliminates the need to learn too many new things. To give you a better view, if you are a sports journalist, you may want to join a sports news site and write for them or if like, you can put your own site and be your own boss. Same goes with a software developer, if you are one, then you may want to put up a site and let people know that you are offering your skills in software development, you can also sell your already made programs and let them pay you per download, by giving development support and by being an online consultant. A digital artist can sell his media, a writer can sell his book. Virtually any product can be sold on the internet, giving you big number of prospected clients.

Join an affiliate program. This program lets you get paid once for a sale or pay you for each members you refer to their network. Depending on how good the program is, that will define how easy you can refer a sale or a membership.

Display relevant advertisement. If you have a web site and your site has some good numbers of great content then placing advertisement on it could earn you a lot of money. You get paid whenever someone clicks to your ads or just by displaying them. Note that you should not click your own advertisement to earn money, they’ll know if you’re doing something.

Take get paid to opportunities. There are some companies that gives you monetary compensation when you do something they need you to do. There’s a long list of get paid to opportunities - Get paid to complete a survey, get paid to surf a site, get paid to post in a forum, get paid to discuss a topic, I could go on but you know where I’m getting to.

Put up a business online. If you’re going to take this one, you need to shell out a fair amount of  money first.  The question is, what business can you do online? For starters, you can  be a web hosting provider, a domain name reseller, a SEO company, or a buy and sell shop. If you already have a business offline, you can bring it online. By bringing your business to the internet, more people can see what you have to offer and thereby giving you more prospective clients and may only bring you more revenue.

Caveat. If you know someone making a huge amount of money and if you want to do what they’re doing,  always remember that not all things that provide good results for others may bring in good results for you. And because making money online needs a lot of time, patience, and sometimes technical skills, finding partners may help you achieve success in a shorter time.

How about you, how do you make money? Tell us about it below.

Another popular question from the blogosphere  is “What blogging software should I use?”.

To answer that question, you’ll need 5 essentials things to consider on how to choose the right blogging system that fits you. Those are: Features, Cost, Control, Support, and Usability.

Movable Type

Movable Type

Movable Type is simple, let’s you have total control, search engine optimized, looks good,  and let’s you connect to dozens of social networks.

One caveat on choosing Movable Type, you’re free to use Movable Type so long as you’re the passionate individual blogger. That means, you’re limited to just one author and you can not have it for business.

Just so you know, Movable Type is blogging platform used by 12 of the Technorati’s top 100 blogs.

Blogger

Blogger

Probably the easiest if you’re the totally uninitiated. When I was just introduced to beautiful world of blogging, I opened up one Blogger account that until now the blog still stands. Hooray! Seriously, you simply sign up and you’re blogging within the next five (5) minutes. That’’s the reason why there are approximately 4.5 Million Blogger users in the world.

Be warned though, by using Blogger, you don’t have the level of control that you’d be getting if you’re using the other two blogging platform from this post. But if you”re just a newbie, I think it won’t bother you much.

Just so you know, Blogger is blogging platform used by 3 of the Technorati’s top 100 blogs.

Wordpress

Wordpress

PHP based, lots of support, almost all features of the two platforms mentioned  above can be found here plus more,   and the most important thing, you’re in absolute control of your blog.

Back by people with the passion for blogging, this platform has gone a rapid development since its release in 2003.

Just so you know, Wordpress is blogging platform used by 27 of the Technorati’s top 100 blogs and 0.8 of the total web sites.

Did I miss something?

That’s just the three of the most used blogging system. If you know a better one other than the three, let us know below.
